We are looking for a sharp, intellectually curious, and analytically strong AI Data Science Intern who is mission-aligned to Just Climate to join our São Paulo-based team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our investment professionals, understanding how we source, evaluate, diligence and manage climate-aligned companies.

The selected candidate will serve as a technology partner embedded within the investment team, helping identify, develop, and deploy cutting-edge technology and AI-powered tools that enhance and accelerate our decision-making. We are looking for a strategic professional who operates at the frontier of the latest models, tools, frameworks, and platforms ndash; someone who anticipates where technology is headed rather than simply reacting to where it stands.

Collaborating closely with colleagues in São Paulo and London, the intern will contribute to building a differentiated regional strategy focused on scaling climate solutions in one of the worldrsquo;s most emission-intensive regions.
You will be part of a small, non-hierarchical team with significant responsibility from day one, working directly with senior investment professionals to advance our technology agenda:

Market mapping ndash; build proprietary tools using artificial intelligence to screen new climate investment opportunities for the firm, identifying innovative sectors and companies before they become market trends;
Pipeline management ndash; develop solutions that improve our pipeline management and workflow, maximizing the efficiency of our investment professionals in terms of deal sourcing and execution;
Investment intelligence ndash; automate market research, business financial analysis, financial modelling, and investment memo construction;
Process innovation ndash; interact with the investment team to identify operational bottlenecks and design technology-driven solutions to address them;
Data analytics ndash; create dashboards and reporting tools for portfolio management, giving the investment team clearer and faster access to actionable data;
Frontier research experimentation ndash; explore and experiment emerging AI developments to assess their applicability to the firmrsquo;s investment process.
